#48 Create a blog

Creating a blog seemed appropriate with a project like this. Keeping track of my progress, sharing memories and pictures with friends and family...So off I went, researching which blog would be best, finding a template, writing a post, adding a picture, click publish and done! Easy peasy right? Not quite. I know diddly squat about html codes, widgets and other blog related lingo. Luckily there was Brenda, a friend from the Netherlands. Brenda has her own Day Zero Project running (for my Dutch-speaking friends, check it out at http://dayzeroproject.blogspot.nl/) and was the inspiration for me to start my own. She patiently guided me through setting up my own blog, sending helpful screenshots and step-by-step instructions. Honestly, I still don't really know what I'm doing, but it looks good, right? Wish #48 completed.
